Before we specify it

Questions this product must answer

  1. Which loads should stay on during an outage?
  2. Is the project new solar, battery-only, or an expansion?
  3. How much stored energy is needed after sunset?
  4. Does the electrical layout support the preferred backup configuration?

The complete system still matters

Capacity, output, efficiency, and warranty narrow the field. The final choice must also fit the roof, electrical design, permits, utility, and service plan.

Any proposed equipment substitution should be documented and reviewed before installation.
