Before construction

Documenting every roof before work began

The campus spans several roof types and three buildings. The starting aerial gives us a clear record of the site before the first attachment went in.

Day 1

The project starts on the first shingle roof

Work began on the first shingle roof with layout and material staging.

Day 3

Rails are aligned and ready for modules

The crew completed the rail layout on the first roof and prepared it for panels.

Day 5

The first panels go on

The first all-black panels went onto the shingle roof.

Day 7

The first array is complete

The completed first array shows the scale of the work still ahead across the campus.

Day 8

Electrical work moves forward behind the panels

Conduit and electrical equipment were installed alongside the panel work.

Day 11

The next shingle-roof section is underway

The crew moved to the next shingle-roof section and began installing the optimizers that will sit beneath the panels.

Latest from the field

Day 11.

The first array is complete. Racking, conduit, wiring, and inverter work continue across the campus.

What comes next

Next stop: the metal roof.

The crew moves to the metal roof next, followed by the flat roof. Final electrical work, commissioning, and inspection come after that.

We’ll keep adding photos and video as the work continues.
