Trina Solar Vertex S+ dual-glass solar module from its manufacturer data sheet
How it works

445 W from a dual-glass panel.

The Vertex S+ collects sunlight at the front and reflected light at the back. Rear-side gains depend on the roof and mounting.

Panel count

A higher wattage per panel can reduce the panel count for a given system size. Roof space and required clearances still determine the layout.

Light from both sides

The front captures direct sunlight. The back can capture light reflected from the roof and surroundings.

Inverter pairing

This is a DC panel. We match its voltage and current to the inverter.

Specifications

Questions

Common questions.

What does bifacial mean?

The panel collects sunlight at the front and reflected light at the back. The 445 W rating is for the front under standard test conditions; rear-side gains depend on the installation.

What do the two warranties cover?

Product coverage protects against manufacturing defects. The 30-year performance warranty covers the panel’s ability to keep producing power over time.
